In these modern times in which we reside in, it is very common to confuse reality with thought, facts with theory, and health with confirmation. Real food, which is basically vegatables and fruits, nutrition wise at least (as much would argue on the taste factor), is the foundation of any nutritious diet, not because it is indeed important and healthy to eat a well balanced diet with vegetables in it, but simply because it is food. The rest is not food. It could be hard to grasp in the beginning, peeping through the tiny crack that all of us have inside our definitions of what food is, and seeing the truth behind the screen of illusion.
Health, true health, cannot be achieved and maintained in virtually any other way. But what is health? I dare you! Try and define it for yourselves. Just do it, take a minute, even 5, and really try and jot down a definition you’ll feel relaxed with for the vague and illusive concept of health.
